Identify and notify your school’s best candidate for The Hesburgh-Yusko Scholars Program.
Applicants may apply to Notre Dame either via Early Action or Regular Decision.

Notre Dame Admissions stipulates that a student applying Early Action to Notre Dame may not apply to any other college or university in their binding Early Decision process. If your student is planning to apply to another school’s binding plan, he or she may apply to our Program as well as to the University of Notre Dame in Regular Decision. We welcome you to contact our office directly to discuss your nominee’s qualifications for The Hesburgh-Yusko Scholars Program.

How to nominate: Please direct your school’s nominee to The Hesburgh-Yusko Scholars Program online application. Through this link, the nominee can create a personal account for the application and will enter your name and email address in the High School Information section of their application. This will generate an automatic email sent to your email address, which grants you access to the Counselor Nomination Form. This email will also provide you with your username and password, enabling you to log in to complete the Counselor Nomination Form.

The Hesburgh-Yusko Scholars Program is highly selective and we seek applicants who embody our selection criteria:

– Distinguished Academic Accomplishment
– Exemplary Moral Character
– Demonstrated Leadership Abilities
– Sincere Commitment to Service

If you have more than one student at your school who exemplifies these criteria, you are welcome to nominate more than one candidate.

Please note that emails from the online application system come from support@hesburgh-yusko.org. Check your spam filter to assure delivery of this important access-granting email. You are always welcome to contact us at 574.631.1111 or hysp@nd.edu if you have any questions about the nomination process.
